52 Week Project – Floral

I have lots of flower pictures but I wanted to make sure I shot something new this week. My husband had two bouquets of flowers delivered for me for mother’s day – one was a dozen roses. I love taking pictures of roses 
I wanted to do something a little different from the normal flower pictures I take – I was going for a very soft look.

Alexander: Newborn Sneak Peak

I love the pictures we got of this little newbie! At first I thought Alexander was not going to sleep for us – this was one tough baby! Most newborns get sleepy and just can’t keep their eyes open, but not this guy! He really fought to keep those eyes open But even he couldn’t keep it up forever and we got some great sleepy shots! And I think Thor’s hammer is the most unique prop I have ever used (baby was born during a lightening storm ). And now that my husband has seen this I am thinking that when our baby #4 comes around he is going to bring lots of superhero props to our newborn session, haha. Can’t wait to go through all of Alexander’s shots for his gallery!

Alexa is one beautiful little girl! And she was a great sleeper for me so we got a bunch of different poses and hats/headbands/wraps etc. Love when we can get a big variety of different shots! Can’t wait to go through all her pics

I got to visit this cute little guy yesterday – and I just love his name! My clients pick the best names for their babies Royce did great for his session – we got a great variety of pictures and I can’t wait to go through them all! Congrats guys – he is just perfect!

I got to go visit this little cutie on Friday! This age can be tough because they are aware enough to know that something odd is going on and that some woman they don’t know is clicking something in their face But Skyler did great – we got some great eye contact out of him and some really great pictures! I can’t wait to go through them all

9 Months Old {Durham Baby Photographer}

Trying out some new Sneak Peak templates today We were hoping to do this Nine Month session at Duke Gardens but it was super yucky and rainy on Sunday so inside we went! It seems to be really really rainy lately – I am hoping that it stops raining on the weekends soon as I have lots of outdoor sessions scheduled for the next few months This little one did great for her session – and she certainly is a mover! Haha – nine month crawlers are fun – they definately keep me on my toes!

Carson: 12 Days Old {Raleigh Newborn Photographer}

Isn’t Carson just the cutest little thing! Although he’s not so little He was almost 10lbs when he was born! He did wonderfully for his photo session. A lot of the time babies are either super sleepy and we can’t get many awake shots, or they are super awake and its a struggle to get lots of sleepy shots. But Carson gave us both! I think we got a great variety of shots for his gallery – can’t wait to go through them all!

This little one suprised us all by arriving several weeks early – and she is just perfect! She did so wonderfully for her session and was just as sweet as can be I know we got a lot of great pictures of this little beauty so it is going to be fun putting together this gallery!
