Raleigh Family Photography Locations Part 2
This is the second in my series on popular locations in the Raleigh area to have your family photo session! This is just to give clients the overview of the variety of styles and backgrounds that are available in the different locations in the area.
This post will give an overview of Yates Mill in Raleigh and Sugg Farm in Holly Springs. Both locations have a rustic farm style and are especially beautiful in the fall once the leaves have changed.
Yates Mill is located in Raleigh off the Gorman Street exit on 1-40. There is an old mill building with a small waterfall, a big bridge over the lake and a grassy area. I also love the stone wall near the parking lot and often use that for individual pictures.
Sugg Farm
Sugg Farm is located in Holly Springs, NC. This location is one of my favorites for Fall because of all the trees here - its just a beautiful natural and rustic location. This location does not allow props so just know that we can only bring a blanket along to sit on for some pictures. Photographers have to pay a yearly fee and agree not to bring props so just make sure to be aware of that if you choose this location for your pictures!
